Internet Business Plans Essential for Business Startup Ideas

Using Internet business plans gives your internet business the best chance for success.  There are hundreds of tantalisingly new objects launched on a daily basis by internet wolves, and without a clear plan it’s easy to believe all the hype put out there by clever and unscrupulous ‘fleecers’. 

It’s a fact – where there are sheep there will always be wolves.  Being forewarned is being forearmed; when you know that your beginner’s ignorance makes you vulnerable you’re miles ahead of those who’re too lazy, arrogant, or impatient to either map out or stick to their plans!

If at all possible, find a mentor.  Careful planning, attention to detail, and closely studying other successful internet business models will improve your chances of success, but without a mentor it will take much longer.  Amongst other things, a mentor can advise against unnecessary expenditure, keep you focused on your internet business plans, and ensure the fastest route between beginner and entrepreneur. There are plenty of good mentors at all budget levels.

I had to learn the hard way.  I believed that I was clever enough to figure things out, and that I couldn’t afford a mentor.  18 months later I was REALLY broke – so deep in debt I thought bankruptcy was the next step!  Ignorance and arrogance can be very expensive…

I spent many months wasting time gathering information (then long periods of burnout having gathered TOO much information); I became severely depressed thinking that I’d bitten off more than I could chew; I battled with technical distractions, mental blocks, and contrary widgets which wouldn’t do what I wanted them to do (and which weren’t necessary in the first place!).

Conventional schooling doesn’t teach us to be self-motivated.  At school we learn with a strict curriculum; at work our jobs have clearly defined structures.  Entrepreneurs have to develop their own skills and resources, motivate themselves, and keep distractions to a minimum. 

When you use a business plan you send a message to your sub-consciousness that you’re serious.  Following a clear plan helps to keep you focused and on track.  A good internet business plan will have a daily, weekly, and monthly checklist; and ticking off completed tasks boosts your confidence. Keeping your goals AND planned rewards foremost in your mind also helps maintain focus. When you’ve mapped your path to success by following a successful internet business model, you can rest assured that following your map WILL result in attaining your goals!

Don’t be afraid to ask for help.  There are excellent forums out there (Niche Choppers, Warriors, Backlinks, and Keyword Academy come to mind).  If you’re on a limited budget,  Fivers is a great resource for those tasks you can’t manage yourself.   

Being fully aware of your strong and weak points also gives you an insight into what motivates you.  Use this insight and put up pictures, photographs, and other tools to help keep your focus on your long-term goal.  Hopefully, you know exactly what this is…

If you’re working towards owning your own home, find a photo or two of homes you like and put them where you’ll see them often.  The same goes for cars, travel, - use visual reminders of whatever goals you have for your successful internet business. Visual reminders will assist when we need something to over-ride that voice that wails: too hard, too tired, this won’t work.
